Accessibility Statement

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Garden Wrld wants its plant-care information to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our accessibility target and treat accessibility as an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification.

What We Work to Support

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible keyboard focus.
  • A skip-to-content link for bypassing repeated navigation.
  • Logical page and article heading structure.
  • Alternative text for meaningful article and inline images.
  • Descriptive link text instead of vague links such as “click here.”
  • Labeled form fields and understandable validation feedback.
  • Readable text sizing and zoom compatibility.
  • Color combinations intended to meet WCAG AA contrast requirements for normal text.
  • Reduced-motion preferences where supported by the theme.

Current Accessibility Work

Garden Wrld periodically audits published content and site templates. Recent work includes adding missing image alternative text, removing duplicate top-level headings, checking link labels, reviewing form labels, confirming keyboard focus and skip-navigation behavior, and reviewing the site's primary color combinations for contrast.

Third-Party Content

Some parts of Garden Wrld may rely on Shopify or other third-party services, integrations, or external websites. We cannot guarantee that every third-party component or linked website meets the same accessibility target.
